by Riccardo and Georgette Spaccarelli since 1980. Each dish is
prepared with the freshest ingredients, and our eclectic wine selection
ensures a perfect accompaniment. Come dine al fresco on our stylish patio
and enjoy a glass of exceptional Italian Wine.
Fine dining on Portland's southern rim has long
been dominated by Riccardo's with the smart Italian room and
stylish patio along Boones Ferry Road. Shopworn standards
such as vitello saltimbocca find liftoff with fatless, medium-rare
veal medallions studded with fresh sage, fontina and prosciutto;
a two-fisted spaghetti con ragu arrives with Marche meat sauce.
Few restaurants specialize in monocultural wine as does Riccardo's,
it's library of Italian reds and whites an impassioned triumph.
Fine bottlings from small producers wedge in among immortals such
as Bruno Giacosa for a fraction of the price, making this the
place, at last, to fuss over the right Barbaresco. - Len

Maker's Dinner Events
On Tuesday, January 31st, please
welcome ENZO BREZZA and his mother, CARLA from BREZZA WINERY &
ESTATE in the heart of BAROLO. We are paring his wonderful wines
with traditional dishes from Piedmont. Please join us at 6:30pm.
The cost is $90 per person including wine. This is always a
popular dinner so please make your reservations early.
Our next dinner on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17th is with GIANNI BERTOLINO
from his Piedmont estate,TENUTA OLIM BAUDA, known for his
refreshing Gavi di Gavi, beautiful Nizza Barbera, and delightful
Moscato. Please join us at 6:30pm. The cost is $90 per person
including wine. Book early for this fun event.
